Two posts in one night! (Even thought the date says they're a day apart - it took two days to get the previous post done and posted...) Here are some more faces for you. These were done on top of photocopies of magazine photos. The paper was pretty slick - I'll try wiping it down first, next time.
I think this one is amazing - hard to believe it's from the hands of a seven-year-old! Here's the artist at work:

They came up withthe crown idea themselves (I promise! I did NOT suggest it!) I think they're so cute! I just love kid art!

Oh so sweet, your children's drawings. And that darling little girl and her face....a little growing artist!
Your paintings on the zines are GREAT!!! So so much fun.
My klimt work is coming along....but have had a friend over all week putting lights in art studio and trying to get the gas stove to work....ukk have to haul it to the Stove store Thurs and see why it is not working.....but then...I can finish my klimt works...and I will have a studio....yeepee!!!

Chidren's art is my favorite. I'll never forget a show in Japan that I saw 30 years ago - the children had drawn several well known landmark castles complete with stone walls and difficult perspective then watercolored in on their drawings. The results were magnificent. Children have the observational skills without the critical inner judge that stifles those of us who've grown older.
